AOU’s MIBA Program aims to develop executives who will progress quickly to senior management positions in institutions globally and who can effectively incorporate, develop and manage transact banking business on Islamic principles. This added skill set adds value to Businesses that do not already incorporate Islamic principles into their mainstream practices nor aware of how to successfully implement these principles to maximize their vast benefits for both corporations and their clients.
To be considered for entry into this Program please submit the following:
-Submit a copy of your High School transcript or have your High School send it to us directly (American Open University 4212 King Street Alexandria, VA 22302 ATTN Graduate Dept)
-Submit official Transcript (have your present University directly send AOU your official transcript- see address above)
-Send copies of both your High School diploma AND your most recent Higher education Diploma (Bachelor Degrees in Business, accounting, finance or economics are preferred but other Bachelor Degrees will be seriously considered but applicants will have to demonstrate the ability to master analytical and quantitative concepts)
-Submit GMAT Score (Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), measures analytical writing, verbal skills and math skills). Applicants with good undergraduate business course grades (3.0 or higher) or extensive executive experience may not need to take the GMAT.
-Send copy of photo ID
-Submit 5 recommendation letters (3 Academic, 1 Professional and 1 Community Leader)
-Submit 1-2 page essay on any business area subject

-If transferring credits from another University pay equalization fee $187.00 (nonrefundable)
