Bachelors in Islamic Economics is designed to provide an unequivocally strong core foundation in Islamic economics and empirical analysis. This Program offers students an ambitious course structure to help advance their understanding of the precise application of economics according to Sharee'a rulings accompanied by the intellectual wisdom garnered by core courses in Islamic Studies.
With these two strong educational bases, our graduates will be most suited to embody its application into the Economic Market, both domestically & globally.
To be considered for entry into AOU's Bachelors Program you must provide the Department with the following:
-Send a copy of your High School Transcript or have your High School send it directly to AOU (American Open University 4212 King Street Alexandria, VA 22302 ATTN Undergraduate Dept) AND if you have, a transcript from another University, please have them send us your official transcript directly.
-Send your SAT test scores if you have taken them
-Send copy of your High School Diploma and if you have, a higher Degree Diploma
-Send copy of photo ID
-Submit a 1-2 page written essay of your accomplishments and future aspirations or you may choose to make a 5-7 minute video focusing on the question at hand
-Submit 3 recommendation letters (2 Academic, 1 Professional or 1 Community leader)
-Pay application fee $75.00 (non-refundable)
