Fiqh of the Islamic State

Course Outline and Objectives:
This course covers the rules, conditions, pillars and organization of an Islamic State giving some details about the Islamic political system; based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, as well as the experience of the Rightly-Guided Khalifs and the trusted Islamic governors. Some objectives include: to compare the Islamic political system with other systems; to have a general idea of the Islamic political system; to study Islamic political principles; and to study the effect of the religion on government.
