Modern Sectarianism PhD-909 3 Credit Hours
1-This course will help the student to know the main active religious sects that were an off-shoot from the genuine and authentic Islam that is based on Al-Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and how their role in dividing the Muslims is sending a confusing message to people of other faiths.
2-This course will also study the roots of modern sects and the steps and development of those sects along with the judgment made by main stream Muslims concerning them.
