This course is designed to help the student to be familiar with:
1-the methodology of the classical orientalists as well as their modern movements and schools which specialized in studying the Islamic ‘Aqeedah as well as the Islamic heritage hoping to discover flaws and contradictions in order to discredit the foundations of Al-Islam; mainly Al-Qur’an and the ‘Ahadeeth .
2-to shed light on secularism so that the student will conclude that it is not only alien to Islam but it is a byproduct of the French revolution which succeeded in making a total separation between the church and the state.
