After you have taken all the Master Program's courses, you must then take the 5 written & 5 corresponding oral comprehensive exams that will test your overall knowledge in the subjects of Aqeedah, Qu'ranic Sciences, Sunnah Sciences, Arabic and Fiqh.

New policy for taking comprehensive exams are as follows

Failure to abide by these rules will result in not accepted!

These exams will be 5 written  and 5 corresponding oral for each subject. Each written exam should not exceed 6 hours

and the oral exams will be approximately 1/2 hour or based on the satisfaction of assessment of the Instructor.

Once a written exam is completed in a subject under the time allowed (6 hours) then the student must immediately hand the exam to the Supervisor. The student then must call the University to obtain the oral examining Instructor's information to schedule his oral exam in that subject. Both written and Oral exams in a subject must be completed before proceeding to the next subject set of exams.


For your answers for the written exams, they must be hand written in pen. Make sure you print your answers and not write in cursive (no typed pages will be accepted).

Make sure you indicate which exam you are taking and write out the question and the number of the question you are answering.

While taking the exams you will just need a pen, paper and your memory. NO CELL PHONES ARE ALLOWED!

You must have all the exams supervised by a teacher or Imam and you are not allowed to use any books, notes, the internet or any other material.

These exams are to test your knowledge of what you have learned in the Masters Program.

Discuss with your supervisor a schedule to take the exams.

The exams will be directly sent to your chosen supervisor and once the exams are completed it must be immediately handed to the supervisor so he or she can send them back to the university.

For THE ORAL EXAM you must call the University to get the name of the instructor who will conduct the exam over the phone or skype

You must give the English Department the name, address and position of your supervisor so we can send them the exams along with their guidelines.
