Bachelor Program Requirements (English Dept)
To be considered for entry into AOU's Bachelors Program you must provide the Department with the following:
-send official Transcript (have your High School AND (if you have) your University send AOU your official transcript directly)
-send SAT Test scores
-send copy of your High School Diploma and if you have, a higher Degree Diploma
-send copy of photo ID
-submit a 1-2 page written essay of your accomplishments and future aspirations or you may choose to make a 5-7 minute video focusing on the question at hand
-submit 3 recommendation letters (2 Academic, 1 Professional or 1 Community leader)
- Pay Admissions Fee $156.00 (nonrefundable)- If transferring Islamic courses to AOU pay Equalization Fee of $156.00
Each Bachelors 2 credit hour course is $190.00
Each Bachelors 3 credit hour course is $285.00
Bachelors Program Fulfillment Requirements:
Pass all Bachelor Courses (123 credit hours) with a Minimum Passing Grade of 75 (C+)
Memorize 1 Juz' of Qur'an $187.00
Pass the 5 comprehensive exams (Aqeedah, Arabic, Qur'anic Sciences, Sunnah Sciences and Fiqh $208.00 per exam which totals $1248.00
